Surah ASR talks about time and how to maximise its benefit
Items needed:
  • Empty container to decorate (used an old blueberry container) – this will be the Amal us salihaat container
  • Colours or coloured paper
  • Rice/dried mung or salt
  • Large messy play tray or container
  • Measuring cup/beaker to pour with
  1. Decorate the Amal us salihaat container and keep calling it that
  2. Pour out the salt/dried mung/rice in the large container and allow the child to play and pour the rice/dried beans
  3. Show them how when they open their fingers the rice/dried beans run through/falls are lost
  4. Now place the empty container under their fingers so they can collect the rice/dried beans
  5. Explain how the container is Amal us salihaat that will last and stay with them whereas salt/dried mung/rice outside what is collected in this container is lost
