Surah Qadr talks about the revelation of the Quran, the night of power/glory (qadr) and the miracle associated with this all-powerful night.
Items needed:
- Paper plate x2
- Blue tissue paper
- Black tissue paper
- Yellow paper
- White paper
- Foil
- Star sticker
- Marker pen
- On a plate split it into half by sticking blue tissue on half, and black tissue paper on the other half, the two sides represent the night and day
- Cut the second plate in half
- Using a butterfly pin secure the plates together on top of one another so they can be used to hide one side or another
- Discuss the concept of day and night with the toddler, use the remaining materials to deocrate with a moon, stars, sun and clouds for the respective time of day, keep mentioning how this one night is when the Quran was revealed and it’s a night full of promise
