Surah Quraysh talks about the tribe of Quraysh, how they were favoured by Allah swt, as part of this favour they were protected by the seasons, during their trade in Syria and Yemen.
Items needed:
- Card to be shaped into a shield
- Coloured paper/colouring pens/pencils
Directions:
- Split the shield in half
- Create a summer and winter landscape across the two sides
- While the toddler is decorating/colouring explain how a shield is used for protection, and how the different seasons require different protection, for example, a woolly hat in winter and a sun hat in summer. Both are hats for the head but protect from different elements. Allah swt has created the seasons as a protection and given us various devices to protect us from the seasons.
