Surah Quraysh talks about the tribe of Quraysh, how they were favoured and tasked with looking after the Holy Ka’ba. A fun way to introduce toddlers to the Ka’ba is talking about how it’s a special house, the house chosen and sanctified by Allah swt. You can add a little about the history of the Ka’ba, how it was built by Prophet Ibraheim, its the birth place of our first Holy Imam. Any simple story that sparks joy.
Items needed:
- Card to be shaped into a cube/a square box
- Black paper/paint/tissue paper
- Yellow paper/paper/tissue paper
- Glue
- Chalk (if you want to draw on rukn yamani)
- Arabic letter stamps and stamp pad
Directions:
- Build the card box and paint/glue with black paper/tissue
- Add yellow details of the ribbon and door
- While the toddler is painting explain about special holidays to visit the Ka’ba are called Umrah and if you go visit in the month of Dhulhijja it’s Hajj
