Activity for 2+ year old
The letter ب is a fun one, try singing rhymes such as 5 little ducks, making duck sounds, even acting out a duck flapping around yet swimming serenely. Discuss the word duck and battatun (بطة) discuss the heaviness of the middle letter ط versus the letter ت (if child is old enough to practice)
Items needed:
- Yellow paper cut into the shape of a duck head
- Half a paper plate coloured yellow
- Orange paper in the shape of a beak
- A Googley eye
- Glue
- Pens
- Cut and colour the paper plate then attach the yellow head shape and orange beak
- With leftover yellow or orange paper attach legs
- Add feathers or sequins if you have any
