The Arabic alphabet is a tapestry of rich sounds and shapes; each letter is a contribution to the beauty and precision of the language. Among them, there is one letter that stands out ث for its peculiar pronunciation and visual elegance.
The Arabic letter “ث” (Thaa’) is the fourth letter of the Arabic alphabet, recognized for its distinct form and unique pronunciation.
Pronounced as a voiceless interdental fricative, “ث” resembles the English “th” sound in “three,” requiring the tongue to be placed lightly between the upper and lower teeth.
We used the word „tha’labun“ or fox to practise the letter ث.
Items needed:
- Paper plate
- Colours/paint
- Double sided tape or pva glue
- Googley eyes
- Pom Pom
- Fold the plate so it appears in the shape of the face of a fox
- Add eyes, ears and Pom Pom nose
