Activity for 2+ year old
Arabic alphabet “ز” (Zayn) is the eleventh letter in the Arabic alphabet and is known for being unique both in shape and pronunciation. This letter is a voiced sound, almost like the “Z” in English.
Items needed:
- Paper plate (yellow or coloured yellow)
- Brown/yellow paper or card
- Googly eyes
- Brown colouring pens/paint/paint stick
- Paint/colour the plate yellow, add brown splotches in a giraffe pattern
- Cut out nose, ears and eyes from the card (googly eyes can be used)
- Glue them on the plate repeating the Arabic word for giraffe (zarafatun or zarafa)
