Merits of Reciting Surah Al-Humazah for Kids: Rewards & Spiritual Benefits

Merits of reciting Surah Humaza

Reading Surah Humaza brings amazing rewards.

A Huge Reward: Prophet Muhammad (sww) said that if you recite this Surah, God gives you “ten helpings” of goodness for every person who was ever mean to the Prophet or his friends

Helping Your Family: Imam Sadiq told us that reciting this Surah in our prayers helps keep a family from being poor, helps bring them what they need (like food and clothes), and keeps them safe from scary accidents

How Can Just Reading a Surah Do All That?

Sometimes, people read it but they don’t see the reward right away.

Think of it like this: It’s just like healthy advice!

Have you ever heard the saying, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away”? Or has a doctor told you, “Drink your milk so you grow strong bones”?

The Big Picture: Usually, drinking milk does make your bones strong. But if someone drinks milk and then never exercises or only eats candy, their bones might still stay weak. There are other things they need to do, too!

The Secret: The doctor isn’t wrong; milk really is good for you. But the doctor doesn’t have time to list every single rule about health every time they talk to you.

The stories from our Holy Teachers are the same way. Reciting this Surah is like “spiritual vitamins”—it is very powerful and truly helps us! But for it to work its best, we also have to try our best to be kind, follow God’s rules, and work hard. Even if we don’t see the “reward” immediately, the connection between our prayers and God’s blessings is always there.
